Splashgame Community Update

Portal Login Issue Resolved

Hello everyone,

We recently discovered an issue in the code powering the Splashgame portal for the Vanilla WoW realm at vanilla.splashgame.org. Because of this bug, some players experienced problems when trying to log in to the portal.

The good news: the issue has now been fully fixed.

What this means for you

New players

  • You can now register and log in normally through the portal.

Existing players

  • If you already have a World of Warcraft account on the realm, you can now log in to the portal using either:

    • your WoW account username, or

    • the email address associated with your account.

Once logged in, you’ll have access to the portal features connected to your game account.

Thank you for your patience

We appreciate everyone who reported the issue and helped us track it down. Keeping the infrastructure around the realm stable and easy to use is important to us, and fixes like this help ensure a smoother experience for everyone.

If you encounter anything that doesn’t seem right, feel free to let us know.

See you in Azeroth!
