Honor System
The honor system on Fólkvangr is designed to reward players for their PvP achievements. Here’s how it works:
- Honorable Kills (HKs): Earn HKs by defeating enemy players close to your level. These contribute to your honor points.
- Dishonorable Kills (DKs): Avoid killing civilian NPCs in enemy towns and cities, as DKs negatively impact your honor standing.
- Honor Points: Accumulate these points through HKs to determine your weekly ranking.
- Weekly Rankings: Players are ranked each week based on their honor points relative to others on the server. Achieving a high rank requires dedication and consistent participation.
- PvP Ranks:
- Private/Scout (Rank 1) to Grand Marshal/High Warlord (Rank 14) are the prestigious titles for the Alliance and Horde, respectively.
- Higher ranks unlock access to powerful PvP gear and weapons, with Rank 14 gear being among the best in the game.
- Decay: Honor points decay over time, so maintaining or improving your rank requires ongoing effort.
Rewards
- PvP Gear: As you rise in rank, special gear sets become available, providing significant advantages in PvP.
- Mounts: High-ranking players can obtain unique mounts to showcase their achievements.
