World PvP
World PvP on Fólkvangr is spontaneous, thrilling, and can happen anywhere in the open world. Here are some key aspects of world PvP on our realm:
- Ganking: Be prepared for sudden attacks from higher-level players, especially in popular leveling zones like Stranglethorn Vale, Hillsbrad Foothills, and Blackrock Mountain.
- City Raids: Organize or defend against raids on major faction cities like Orgrimmar and Stormwind. These massive battles are a hallmark of our server.
- Territorial Control: Key areas such as Blackrock Mountain are often contested as players vie for control over crucial instances like Blackrock Depths, Blackrock Spire, and Molten Core.
- Skirmishes: Expect small-scale skirmishes as you level up or farm resources in contested zones.
Battleground PvP
Our realm offers classic battlegrounds where players can engage in structured PvP combat. The available battlegrounds are:
- Warsong Gulch (WSG):
- Type: Capture the Flag
- Team Size: 10 vs. 10
- Objective: Capture the enemy flag and return it to your base while defending your own flag. The first team to capture three flags wins.
- Arathi Basin (AB):
- Type: Resource Control
- Team Size: 15 vs. 15
- Objective: Capture and hold resource nodes (lumber mill, farm, mine, blacksmith, stables) to accumulate points. The first team to reach 2000 points wins.
- Alterac Valley (AV):
- Type: Large-Scale Battle
- Team Size: 40 vs. 40
- Objective: A sprawling battleground with multiple objectives, including capturing graveyards, bunkers/towers, and summoning NPCs to aid in the battle. The ultimate goal is to defeat the enemy faction’s general.
